Marvel Rivals Adds Fantastic Four Skins Ahead of MCU Film Release
Marvel Rivals is gearing up for one of its biggest cosmetic updates yet, as Fantastic Four-themed skins are set to arrive just in time for the release of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps movie. The new outfits will go live in the in-game shop on July 25, 2025, perfectly aligning with the film’s global premiere.
Fantastic Four Joins the Marvel Rivals Roster
Marvel Rivals, the hero-based team shooter that launched in December 2024, has been steadily adding content based on Marvel’s iconic comic and cinematic properties. Now, to celebrate the Fantastic Four’s return to the big screen, the game will feature special skins for all four members of Marvel’s First Family: Human Torch, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Mr. Fantastic.
These skins are based on their designs from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie and come with unique cosmetic emotes, including a “countdown” animation where each character highlights their signature number. While pricing details haven’t been revealed, previous MCU skin bundles in Marvel Rivals suggest this will be offered as a premium cosmetic package in the in-game shop.
The skins will officially launch during the Thursday, July 24 shop reset at 7:30 AM IST (10:00 PM ET, July 23), ensuring players can suit up as their favorite Fantastic Four heroes just in time for the film’s release.
More Skins and Content Coming Soon
The Fantastic Four skins are only the start of Marvel Rivals’ cosmetic plans for Season 3. According to the official content roadmap, two new Phoenix skins—Phoenix Demon for Magik and Phoenix Panther for Black Panther—will be released on August 1, 2025.
The update cycle doesn’t stop there, as August 8, 2025 will mark the debut of Blade, one of the most requested characters since launch, as a playable hero. Blade’s arrival is expected to be one of the most significant character releases of the year, possibly coming with his own set of cosmetics and story-driven content.
