I acknowledge that the TV division of Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited (BCCL/Company)and its affiliates including Digit and Skoar (collectively, “SCGC as Skoar College Gaming Club”) has granted me a revocable license to the applicable event, whether hosted in-person or virtually (the “Event”). I acknowledge that I will follow all instructions and/guidelines issued by SCGC at all times during the Event. SCGC reserves the right to revoke the license with or without cause. In particular, the license may be withdrawn to any person whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly, who uses abusive language, fails to comply with these terms, any physical or information security policies, or any terms and/or rules imposed by the Event premises or by SCGC, as applicable.
I acknowledge and understand that any content provided in an Event is for general informational or educational purposes only and is provided on an AS IS basis. SCGC makes no representations or warranties, of any kind whatsoever, express or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or timeliness of information presented and SCGC shall have no liability for any error or omissions. The views, information, or opinions expressed during the Event are solely those of the individuals involved and do not necessarily represent those of SCGC or of its employees. SCGC assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content provided in an Event.
I give my irrevocable consent and grant SCGC and its affiliates the right to utilize my name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the Event (regardless of whether before, during or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation for commercial or promotional purposes, without further review or authorization from, or compensation to, me or anyone acting on my behalf. I acknowledge that SCGC or its affiliates shall own the copyright in these audio, video, and photographs. We will be utilizing the footage we capture as our content, and we kindly request the freedom to share it in whichever manner we deem fit. We kindly request your understanding that the footage we capture during the event belongs to the BCCL and its affiliates.
We have the freedom to share it in any manner we see fit, and we respectfully request that no claims be made regarding the ownership of said content.
Your Information: Sharing with Event Sponsors.
We may provide your contact information to Event Sponsor if (a) you elect to attend any sessions or other activities at the Event or (b) you opt-in during registration or otherwise to receive communications from our Event Sponsors.
Indemnification. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you (for yourself, your heirs, dependents, personal representatives, assigns, and anyone else who might make a claim on your behalf or as a result of your death or injury) hereby release BCCL and its affiliates, Event partner and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, debts, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) that you may have now or in the future associated in any way with the Event, the Recordings, or Your Materials.
NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHER PARTIES’ ACTIONS
The Event organised virtually via a platform is enabling connections between you and gaming platform, but the Company shall not responsible for the performance of gaming platform, nor does it have control over the quality, timing, legality, failure to provide, or any other aspect whatsoever of the services they provide, nor of the integrity, responsibility or any of the actions or omissions whatsoever of any gaming platform. When interacting with other participants in the Event and on the gaming platform, you should exercise caution and common sense to protect your personal safety and property, just as you would when interacting with other persons whom you don’t know. The Company is not responsible for the conduct or performance, whether online or offline, of any user of the Event services / platform.
The Event organizers may offer participants the opportunity to participate in certain online competitions and tournaments, some of which may have prizes for the winners. If you participate in such online competitions and tournaments, you may be required to sign necessary documents as requested by BCCL and report as taxable income the value of any such prizes received by you. Eligibility requirements will be disclosed in connection with each online competition and tournament. To collect a prize, you may be required to provide information reasonably requested by the Event organizer. Any sponsor who provides a particular prize may report the value of the prize to federal and/or state taxing authorities.
SCGC may revise these terms and conditions, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you, by updating this posted version of these Terms and Conditions. You should review this website for changes to these Terms and Conditions.
Any changes are effective upon posting to this website. If you disagree with any changes, your sole and exclusive remedy is to terminate your relationship with SCGC. Your continued use after notice of a change has been posted will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
Independent Relationship of Payment Services
The Company provides a platform by which payments can be remitted to: (i) Event organizers for registrations, merchandise, and subscription with respect to events registered on the Site; and (ii) These payments are transacted through online payment services such as Razorpay, Paypal, or other third party payment services. Payments may also be arranged directly with Event organizers. Tournament Organizers and General Users sending payments affect the applicable monetary payment transaction through the payment service, and are bound by the applicable terms of use governing the payment service.
